LightSky™ 5-Year Limited Warranty
Terms & Conditions
Blizzard Lighting, LLC (“Blizzard”) is the authorized U.S. distributor and service provider for LightSky™ fixtures — built for the road, the rig, and the rental package, not the showroom shelf. We know these fixtures go to work in touring productions, fixed installs, and time-sensitive live events, where downtime is never just an inconvenience. It’s a problem on the clock. This Warranty is written with that reality in mind.
This Warranty is available exclusively for LightSky™ fixtures purchased through Blizzard-authorized dealers in the United States. Fixtures purchased through unauthorized, third-party, or grey-market channels are not eligible for coverage under this program.
The LightSky™ 5-Year Limited Warranty (“Warranty”) is included as standard coverage on every qualifying LightSky™ fixture — no separate purchase or upgrade required. Coverage runs for five (5) years from the date the shipment is received by the customer, subject to the terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions described below.
1. Eligibility & Registration
This Warranty:
Applies only to qualifying LightSky™ fixtures purchased in the United States through Blizzard-authorized dealers.
Is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
Requires valid proof of purchase and confirmation of shipment receipt date.
May require product registration within thirty (30) days of receipt to maintain eligibility.
Blizzard reserves the right to deny warranty coverage if eligibility requirements are not met.
2. Standard Warranty Coverage
All eligible LightSky™ fixtures include a five (5) year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal intended operating conditions, beginning on the date the shipment is received by the customer.
3. What Is Covered
During the applicable warranty period, Blizzard may, at its sole discretion:
Repair defective products
Replace defective components
Provide replacement products or equivalent replacement products when repair is impractical
Coverage applies to:
Defects in materials or workmanship
Failures of electrical or electronic components under normal operating conditions
Manufacturing-related defects occurring during normal use
For IP-rated fixtures only, warranty coverage may include freshwater ingress resulting directly from failure of factory-installed environmental sealing systems, provided the fixture was installed, maintained, and operated according to manufacturer recommendations.
4. Production Priority Support
We understand that when a LightSky™ fixture goes down mid-load-in or mid-run, waiting on a standard repair queue isn’t an option. For active productions, Blizzard offers a Production Priority Support path alongside standard warranty service:
Dedicated escalation — flag your support request as an active production and it is routed for priority handling, ahead of the standard queue.
Field-first resolution — for straightforward repairs (connectors, fans, simple component swaps), Blizzard will work with you to resolve the issue in the field with replacement parts and technical guidance, rather than requiring the fixture be pulled from service. More involved repairs follow the standard RA and return process below.
Advance replacement — for organizations with a technician who has completed Blizzard’s Certified Repair Technician program, Blizzard may ship replacement parts or a replacement fixture ahead of receiving the defective unit back, rather than requiring return-then-replace.
Advance replacement is available only to organizations with at least one Blizzard Certified Repair Technician on staff at the time of the request. Exact turnaround on advance shipments depends on part and fixture availability and is determined case by case, but priority production cases are handled ahead of standard requests. Where advance replacement parts or fixtures are provided, the defective component must be returned to Blizzard within the timeframe specified at the time of shipment. Failure to return requested parts may result in charges for replacement costs.
Blizzard reserves the right to determine the appropriate repair method in all cases, including in-house repair, field repair authorization, replacement part shipment, or product replacement.
