Penske Hamburg GmbH selected 60 AQUABEAM 400LL moving head beam lights from LiGHT SKY for the European debut of the Lamborghini Temerario. The brief called for lighting that matched the car's aesthetic — sharp, high-contrast, and visually aggressive.
Fixture Overview
The AQUABEAM 400LL runs a 400W long-life lamp (6,000+ hour rated lifespan) through a φ168 optical lens, producing a tight, high-intensity beam output comparable to traditional 4,000W searchlights at a fraction of the power draw. The PA66 engineering housing carries an IP54 rating, making it suitable for outdoor use without additional weatherproofing.
Application
The 60-unit rig was programmed in sync with laser effects and a live music playback system. CMY color mixing and dual rotating prisms were used throughout the show to shift the atmosphere across the event's segments — from pre-reveal anticipation to the full car unveil. The outdoor venue in Hamburg presented no operational issues for the fixture.
